Thank you God for Angus...

F**** it....it is not about food this one.

Oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi...........AC/DC Rock or Bust Tour 2015!!!

Still under the influence of a Zeltweg ACDC Rock or Bust show last Thursday I can't write about food but I need to write this down, Though the word or the name Angus comes into my mind always at two different levels. One is the famous australian beef. The other is Angus Young, brother  of Malcom, who together formed the band ACDC back in 1973. That would be a good 42 years back. I guess we could say they are well aged by now.

I am a guitarist. It is and remains my first love. Well before cooking and many other good things I have found and learned to love in my life. Guitar could be directly comparable to chefs knife. If you love them both you should agree. These are instruments which help a man or a woman raise it self over other when well played - we can use this exact phrase "well played". It is not a coincidence that we can admire certain chefs todays like rock stars.

Anyone who loves rock music loves ACDC. There is a special feelling in the music that they create and magnificently perform live and record in studios as I said for last 42 years. The energy they still show on stage is only slightly touched by age. Basicaly it is very simple - as a guitarist I can tell you those riffs are not the hardest to learn. But there is the feelling in the fingers and your heart&soul. You either posess it or you don't. Again a talent that you can compare to a cooks talent and feelling when the action starts. The finese, the raw power, the complete awareness and control of the situation are scary when talking about AC/DC. These days they are a well oiled machine of the music business but they for sure did not lost the enthusiasm and edge of their young age. They are still "bloody rare" and delicious. Mr. Angus Young who is known for his special move tapping one foot down while jumping on the other, This way he is almost flying on the stage all while playing his riffs - his tasty bites for the crowd. It is an uplifting scene. He is a man in his sixties. Don't be fooled by anyone who will tell you different - man is a guitar god. Period.

Recently he lost a lifelong compainion - his brother Malcolm. Not that he would die but I think ssomething even more tragic happened happened. His medical condition with dementia has made him unable to perform live anymore. Simply he forgets his own songs - his creations. I can't even imagine anything worst that can happen to a living man - musician ore any other creative human being. They have together created 22 albums and let the world have rock - Let there be rock is one of their hit records. But the story is not over yet. Tjere is a box with thousands of written ideas they had put togethe rover the years and I am damn sure taht Malcolm still pics up his guitar for some creative work or just for fun.

I don't want to make any reviews only a suggestion that if you don't go to see them you can miss out an oportunity to expirience something big and face&taste the glory of ACDC raw power. They could never return. But if they do.......WE ARE GOING back!!!!!

So once again: "THANK YOU GOD FOR ANGUS YOUNG." Amen.
